Mennecy Silver-Mounted
Snuff-Box modelled as a crouching
rabbit on a green mound base, the cover moulded and painted with flowering
branches.
2 ins (5 cms) wide.

St Cloud silver-mounted snuff-box modelled as a brown hairy dog lying on a
mound. The cover painted on both sides with flowering branches.
Circa 1745,
Marks: The silver mounts
with The Décharge of Antoine Leschaudel, Paris 1744-50.
Provenance: The Elizabeth Parke Firestone Collection.
St Cloud Silver-Mounted Pug Dog Snuff-Box. The recumbent animal with brown
fur and yellow ribbon collar. The cover painted on both sides with
flowering branches.
2˝ ins (6.5 cms) wide.
Circa 1750
The silver mounts with the charge of Julien
Berthe, Paris 1750-56.
