A rare Chelsea white model
of a Child’s Head after Fiammingo turned slightly to his left and tilted
downwards, his lips parted and hair tousled; on a waisted wooden socle.
Height: 4 ¼ in (10.8 cm)

According to Elizabeth Adams “Chelsea Porcelain” P.31. in the early part
of the seventeenth century the Flemish sculptor, François Duquesnoy, spent
most of his life in Italy and was popularly known as Il Fiammingo.
