An extremely Rare Bow Group of a Hen and Cockerel with brown, puce and purple feather markings on an oval mound base.

Circa 1760

Height: 10.5 cm (4 ¼ in)

see: Bow Porcelain Figures c. 1748 – 1774, plate 179 p.162.
Bow Porcelain, Adams & Redstone fig. 131

The models of the cockerel and the hen are derived from Kaendler’s originals in Meissen porcelain circa 1745. The models are found usually separately at Bow and there are only two recordings of the models together on a single base.
