A Derby pierced circular twin
handled basket, the exterior applied with malachite green florets,
exceptionally well painted by the same hand as the previous item, with a
superb spray of cherries together with beautifully coloured insects in
flight.
Circa 1760.
Diameter: 6 ¾ ins (17cms.)
Patch marks to the underside of the footrim.
Provenance: All three baskets were the property of Sir Francis Burdett
