A 1st period Dr. Wall
Worcester Blind Earl moulded Teapot Stand or Sucrier base, crisply moulded
in low relief with the typical leaves of the rose extending across the
piece and applied at one side with two buds extending from the branch
handle, delicately painted in puce monochrome with sprays of stylised
flowers and leaves and two oval gilt scroll moulded panels, the scalloped
edge with gilt line rim.
A fine and rare First Period
Dr. Wall Worcester Dessert Plate, beautifully decorated in the London
atelier of James Giles with an exotic bird perched on a rocky slab amidst
vegetation, surrounded by European flowers.
A very fine and rare 1st
Period Dr. Wall Worcester Sugar Bowl and Cover, beautifully and
naturalistically decorated with sprigs and sprays of European flowers
within gilt scrolled rococo cartouches reserved upon a blue scale ground,
the similarly decorated ogival cover with open rose finial.
