A fine and remarkably complete Coalport Imari patterned Dinner and Dessert Service, fully and richly decorated in the Imari style and palette and enriched in gold, the centre with a blue weeping willow tree issuing red and gold fronds, beside a holed rock at the waters edge before flowering oriental plants, including peonies and chrysanthemum and an iron red fence, within a full wide border containing panels of iron red diaper, flowering white and gold chrysanthemum reserved on a blue ground and between panels of further chrysanthemum and iron red scrolling oriental foliage, divided by an irregular scrolled gold partition, enclosed within typical slightly indented gold edges, comprising ninety pieces, including:-

1 large oval platter 22 in (56 cms) 1 large oval platter 19 ¾ in (50 cms) 1 oval platter 18 in (45.5 cms) 3 oval platters 13 ½ in (34.5 cms) 4 oval platters 12 in (30.5 cms) 2 oval platters 10 ½ in (27 cms) 1 soup tureen, cover and stand: length of stand 16 in (41 cms) length of tureen 12 in (30.5 cms) 4 square vegetable dishes and covers 10 in (25.5 cms) 4 sauce tureens, covers and stands: length of stand 8 ½ in (20 cms) length of tureen 7 in (17.8 cms) 4 lozenge shaped dessert dishes 11 in (28 cms) 4 shell shaped dessert dishes 8 in (20 cms) 2 square shaped dessert dishes 8 in (20 cms) 18 soup plates 9 ¾ in (24.5 cms) 18 dinner plates 9 ½ in (24 cms) 18 dessert plates 8 ½ in (21.5 cms) 90 pieces in total
