Occupying an 18th century building on Cork Street, in the heart of London's Mayfair, Browse & Darby have long been associated with figurative English painting. As well as showing contemporary British painting, the gallery deals in late 19th & early 20th century European Art: French artists such as Bonnard, Degas, Pissarro and Rodin, and British artists such as Walter Sickert and his contemporaries, Matthew Smith, William Nicholson, Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Gwen John and Augustus John.
