A Rare Bow Silver Shaped Sauceboat, moulded in crisp low relief with festooned swags of roses and flowers pendant from the scrolled rim, supported on a high oval pedestal base, with a further band of roses, the strongly ribbed and double scrolled handle applied at the interior upper terminal with a face wearing an Indian headdress, the whole enriched with gold open flowers and interspersed with hatched leaves, the pedestal foot with four simple stars.

A Fine and Rare Longton Hall Tankard, the slightly tapering cylindrical form with scrolled and double kicked handle, painted in the famille rose palette with a large flowering peony issuing from a holed blue rock together with red sprays of bamboo and multicoloured sprays of flowering prunus branches extending around the side, the reverse with the charming inclusion of a crane wading in shallow water, the interior painted with four small green leaves beneath a double red line border.

An extremely rare and important First Period Dr. Wall Worcester Dessert Plate, beautifully decorated in the London  Atelier of James Giles, the pattern executed as a rare replacement in the Japanese Arita style, in gilt with delicate coloured additions and detailing, showing a Crane standing amongst bamboo, flowering peonies, prunus and pine fronds, calling to another Crane that flies above, within a gold line rim.

A very fine First Period Dr. Wall Worcester ‘Mobbing Birds’ vase, of baluster shape with turned foot and neck, beautifully painted in the style of James Rogers, in a very vibrant palette, with a peacock perched in a tree, to one side a brown thrush shrieks, whilst all around geese and exotic birds fly together with insects, butterflies and small flocks of birds.

A superb and impressive large pair of First Period Dr Wall Worcester  Hexagonal Vases and Covers, of shouldered baluster form, the front and reverse panels painted with huge exotic birds strutting amongst flowering and fruiting vegetation surrounded with smaller birds perched within leafy branches and others in flight above, within elaborate gold scrolled rococo cartouches, the

shoulder panels, triangular in form decorated with butterflies and insects in flight and at the neck narrow panels of fruiting vegetation, the whole reserved upon a very well executed blue scale ground, the domed covers with further panels of exotic birds, butterflies and insects, on a blue scale ground, the acorn knops with gilt embellishments.

An extremely rare an massive First Period Dr. Wall Worcester yellow ground Cabbage Leaf moulded Mask Jug, of Dutch shape, and of the largest size, with double scrolled handle, the globular body moulded with stylised cabbage leaves, beautifully painted with purple and puce framed quatrefoil panels containing full garlands of European flowers, including: divergent tulips, auriculas, roses, lilies and chrysanthemum, reserved on a pale yellow ground with scattered oriental blue and iron red flowers in the kakiemon taste, beneath a border of iron red scrollwork and gilt flowerheads, the spout moulded with a mask head picked out in colours.

A highly unusual first period Dr Wall Worcester Cream Jug, of slender baluster form with double scrolled handle and thumbpiece, the pleat moulded body moulded with scrolled panels, leaves and fruit and larger leaves at the base, painted with the ‘Corpulent Monk’ or ‘Pu Tai’ pattern, showing the Chinese seated sage wearing his characteristic iron red and green robes seated out side his hermitage and holding his wind bag aloft, the seated Guanyin to the left holds a lotus bud and stalk and to her right another male figure holds a stylised globe, the interior with iron red and

gold loop and dot border.

A Very Fine First Period Dr. Wall Worcester Teapot and Cover, of globular shape with grooved strap handle, painted in ‘Gentleman’s Mandarin’ style with an oriental figure holding flowering prunus and handing a sprig to a Court Lady who wears a light green robe, they stand on a turquoise and red stylised Chinese lawn, before blue ferns, the reverse with a figure holding a tray showing gaming counters, within borders of finely tooled gilt scrollwork containing iron red and black floral panels, the slightly domed cover with similar decoration and open flower finial.

A Fine Pair of First Period Dr. Wall Worcester Vases, of baluster shape, vibrantly painted in the kakiemon palette with panels of phoenix birds perched on flowering prunus branches, the sides with smaller similar panels and at the neck panels containing further flowering peonies, framed with elegant gold scrollwork and foliate sprigs, reserved on a blue scale ground.

A fine and rare early Worcester Tankard, of graceful slightly waisted silver form, with grooved strap handle, delicately painted in fine early lustrous glazes of light green, purples, yellow and blue with the very rare version of the ‘Beckoning Chinaman’ pattern, showing a Mandarin with blue ribboned topknot standing in a yellow lined purple silk robe with scarlet cuffs, his arm raised and beckoning to a small flock of birds, within a Chinese landscape with rocks and marestail ferns, to one side a small boy runs gaily his arms akimbo, the reverse with a spray of peonies

and orchids in bright enamel colours.
