A
fine and rare Worcester Kidney-shaped Dish from the Bostock Service,
painted with the arms of Bostock with Rich in pretence, within a
wreath of European flowers, the blue border with rope twist and gold
scrolls hung with garlands of fruit including: pears, plums,
strawberries, currants and rosehips.

A
fine Christians Liverpool Teapot and Cover, of shouldered pear shape
with applied looped handle, moulded in very crisp
relief with arched panels framed with palm columns, painted with
Chinese figures within interiors, in flamboyant dress and wearing
top knots, the base moulded with a border of leaves which are
painted with green and puce highlights, the domed cover with similar
Chinese figure decoration.

An
exceptionally fine and rare pair of Derby yellow ground sauce
tureens, covers and stands, painted to the most accurate degree of
realism in the manner of John Brewer with named botanical specimens,
with every care to create the most elegant formations, the covers
with ring finials showing the blue flowered vetch and yellow
alyssum, the twin handled tureens showing the dog’s tooth violet,
geranium, almond and Cyrtanthus, the narrow oval stands each with
double interlaced handles, each piece with lemon yellow border above
a gold husk and berry border and framed with thick gold bands.

Fine Worcester Flight Barr and Barr Porcelain Pot Pourri Vase and
Cover, of classical krater urn shape with twin gold
rams head handles and beaded border, beautifully painted by John
Pennington with brightly coloured figures at conversation within
dramatic panoramic landscapes with the distant ‘blue remembered
hills’ of Worcestershire and Shropshire in the distance showing
Woodbury Hill and full range of the Abberley Hills extending across
Ramscombe and through Astley following the line to Arley and through
to the peaks at Hagley, the pierced cover with kneeling winged
sphinx finial.
