Specification for advertising material for the:

  • Art Antiques Design Dubai catalogue

Sizes:

Trim: 270mm high x 240mm wide (Portrait) (10.63 x 9.45 inches)
Bleed: 276mm x 246mm (10.87 x 9.7 inches)

DISKS for COLOUR & B/W:

CD  or DVD

PDF (Preferred) or Quark files (US or European versions only [see below] - We do not support InDesign.

PDFs should be CMYK (nb make sure to convert all spot colours to CMYK), have all fonts embedded, with compression set for high quality or Press Optimized job options selected (pdfx/1a prefferred). Please allow for bleed and include trim marks.

Don't forget to add bleed and trim marks with a 12pt or 4mm offset if the page is to bleed

EPS files should have fonts converted to paths and allow for bleed.

Quark files up to v.7.3 (US or European) should have supporting images as CMYK or greyscale tiff, eps or jpeg files (maximum quality JPEGs only if sent via ISDN)

For ads created in non-US or non-European versions of Quark, either export the page as an eps and ‘collect' the fonts for inclusion or created a postscript file ready for printing with fonts embedded (it should have the file type appended i.e. ‘ps').

All fonts files must be included and high resolution screen images in place

Colour ads on disk must be accompanied by colour proof (Digital Cromalin, Matchprint, Kodak or Iris print is acceptable made from same file. Digital colour proofs may not be matched exactly). If proof is not supplied we make one and you will be charged at the current rate.

NB We cannot attempt colour matching where proofs are not supplied or calibrated to Eurostandard specifications
